The WISE Huddle

Where faith, neuroscience, and real life come together.

We start in sport, but we do not stay there. The same pressures show up in our homes, classrooms, work, and relationships. Let’s get curious about what is happening underneath the reaction and find one wise next step.

Why we huddle

There is always more to the story than the scoreboard.

An athlete makes a mistake and cannot shake it. A coach gives feedback, and it lands harder than anyone expected. A parent or leader keeps pushing because slowing down feels like falling behind.

I care about what is happening underneath those moments. We bring the story, Scripture, and the science of the brain and body together, then put it to practice. Not to chase perfect performance, but to help people respond with wisdom when the moment gets loud.

Find your place in the huddle

For the person performing, and the people helping them grow.

Coach WISE

Game Ready

For athletes and anyone facing a high-pressure moment. We make room for the nerves, the mistake, and the next play, with practical ways to prepare the whole person.

Meet your host

Hey, I’m Emily. Most athletes call me Coach Em.

I’m a performance neuroscientist, former collegiate coach, founder of Workzbe, and author of Bitter to Better. My work lives at the intersection of how people think, feel, connect, and perform.

I love the nerdy science. I also know it has to make sense in a dugout, in a hard conversation, or on the drive home. And my faith is not a footnote here. It shapes how I think about identity, wisdom, and the person behind the performance.
